Membership is a meaningful way to keep the Opera House strong and sustainable year-round, providing vital operating support that helps us preserve and maintain this historic space, keep the lights on, staff our events, and ensure the building remains welcoming, safe, and vibrant for everyone who walks through our doors. In return, members enjoy valuable benefits—like early access to tickets before they go on sale to the public, a 10% discount on all Opera House–presented events, and a variety of other member-only perks that make every visit feel a little more special.

The Harold Schlender Building Preservation Fund, established in honor of the late Harold Schlender, a remarkable individual known for his tireless dedication to the restoration and preservation of the Opera House. Donations, encouraged on a monthly basis, reflect Harold’s commitment and aim to secure resources for facility upkeep.

For a lasting legacy, either personal or on behalf of a business, the Opera House has several opportunities for named gifts. Theatre seats are available for adoption in three price levels and offer an armrest plaque that can be inscribed with a message of your choosing. Other, larger named gift opportunities include the concession stand, ladies lounge, men’s lounge, dressing rooms, and refreshment carts. The Diane Calcagno-Fallis Endowment Fund, established at the McPherson County Community Foundation, honors the legacy of the late Diane Fallis, a former Executive Director of the McPherson Opera House. Through the Foundation’s careful management, the fund provides ongoing financial support to help ensure this historic community treasure continues to thrive for generations to come.
