On every ticket the McPherson Opera House sells there is a preservation fee added. Venues presenting live entertainment commonly add various fees to the basic price of a ticket. Most often those additional fees go to the ticketing companies, not the venue. In our case, the non-taxable preservation fee goes to the upkeep and historical preservation of our beautiful venue so that generations of patrons can come enjoy it for years to come!

There are several ways to receive your tickets. You can print your tickets at home by selecting the “Print @ Home” option when you purchase tickets online. You can also choose to have them mailed to you, for an additional fee, if the tickets are purchased within 7 days of the event. If you chose not to “print @ home” or have your tickets mailed, tickets will be placed in Will Call. Will Call tickets can be picked up at the will call  table located in the lobby one hour before show. You can also stop by the box office anytime during business hours and we would be happy to print your tickets for you.

The McPherson Opera House proudly offers concessions to our patrons. Our concessions stand is located on the east side of the lobby and offers a wide variety of goodies for you to enjoy during your visit. We also offer a full bar.

Opera House doors will open one hour prior to the event time. Typically, doors to the theatre will open 30 min before show time. The Opera House recommends all guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to show time in order to be inside the venue by the time the show begins.
