The Lovin’ Spoonful, formed in 1965 in New York’s Greenwich Village, quickly became America’s answer to the Beatles with seven consecutive top 10 Billboard hits, including “Do You Believe in Magic,” “Daydream,” and “Summer in the City.” They were a staple on iconic TV shows like The Ed Sullivan Show and Shindig! Today, founding member Steve Boone is joined by Jeff Alan Ross, Bill Cinque, Mike Arturi, and Rob Bonfiglio to celebrate the band’s timeless, good-time sound. With their joyful, folk-rock legacy still going strong, The Lovin’ Spoonful was rightfully inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.
