The Blackwood Family is the first family of Gospel Music, winning 8 Grammy Awards, 27 Dove Awards, and have sold over 60 million albums. The Blackwood Quartet is uniquely positioned to present the Gospel music Elvis loved best. Elvis, in fact, wanted to sing with the Blackwoods, but Sun Records signed him to a contract and the rest, as they say, is history.
The Blackwoods sang at Elvis’s mother’s funeral and at Elvis’s funeral itself. If you love the best in Gospel music and hold the memory of Elvis dear, you won’t want to miss this performance.
