Mexican commerce played a major role in the Santa Fe Trade 1821-1880.  The Quivira Chapter, Santa Fe Trail Association, brings you Mexican dancers from Ballet Folklorico de Topeka.

Ballet Folklorico de Topeka is part of JUSTICIA, INC., a non-profit organization with the mission to preserve, educate, and promote Mexican / Latino culture. Since 1976, the ballet,under the direction of Ediberto Gonzalez Sr., has worked to promote cultural dance in theTopeka community and the state of Kansas and preserve the Mexican folklore culture.
