CORONAVIRUS UPDATE:

Please check the Event Schedule for live performances that have been postponed. Original tickets purchased will be valid for the new dates.

Currently, any movies will be offered to a limited number of guests.

We are continually watching for updates from the CDC and local government and will proceed with future live performances in accordance with their guidelines and recommendations.

PRECAUTIONS AGAINST CORONAVIRUS:

The safety of our guests, staff and volunteers is a top priority for the McPherson Opera House. Below are some of the many procedures we are taking to ensure safety within the building.

• Requiring all staff and volunteers to wear a mask while assisting patrons.
• Requiring all patrons to wear a mask upon entry while transitioning the building until they have reached their seat.
• Requiring patrons or “family units” to maintain 6 feet of social distancing while transitioning the building and when seated in the auditorium.
• Increasing hand sanitizing stations throughout the building.
• Implementing limited “touch” policies for handling tickets
• Utilizing hospital-grade disinfectant cleaner in all high touch areas (armrests, handrails, door handles, etc.)
• Sanitizing wipe-downs of counters during the course of service in our concession and bar areas
• Requiring that a staff member or volunteer stay home if they feel ill.
